Kair Services provides Community Participation Supports (CPS). CPS is a service specifically defined by Pennsylvania to help people with disabilities develop connections and relationships within their Community.
The plan for each person is developed based on their interests and needs. Each person served will be working towards specific goals that they develop along with their support team. The plan for their weekly schedule may include volunteering, joining clubs, going to local community activities, and more.
Kair Services provides services to people with Intellectual Disabilities living in Lancaster County. Individuals served need to have funding through the state, and an Individual Support Plan developed by a Supports Coordinator with the County. We strive to provide a service that is above the industry standard. This means consistent, experienced staff, who have a passion for the people they serve. We aim to achieve this by bringing on people for whom disability ministry is a life passion, training them in the specific needs and diagnosis of their clients, providing the work/life balance they need to avoid burnout, and finally compensating them as professionals.
